Kerry did a pretty good job in tonight’s debate. Bush ruined his own shit most of the time by appearing to be a paranoid, inflexible, bumbling moron, but I also loved how Kerry served Bush his ass on a platter when answering the question about the gravest current threat to America: Fighting nuclear proliferation whilst America is designing new nuclear weapons. I just wish Kerry would have used his 30 second extension to slam Bush on his preposterous statement that the untested and scientifically flawed missile defense system is going to somehow protect America from nuclear proliferation.
And not that CNN polls are even remotely scientific or reliable, but I’d like to insert my very best Nelsonian HAA HAA here.

yeah … even if Bush “wins” again, i’m heartened to think that the rest of the world may have seen this debate and been reminded that not all americans and american leaders are neanderthals.
