Connie and Rick’s wedding
Today, Natalie and I attended the wedding of Connie Chen and Rick Treger. Connie, Rick and I were all members of the Keck School of Medicine class of 2001 (although since I switched to MD/PhD, I’m now in the class of 2006… yippee). Natalie started her Masters degree at USC at the same time all of us started medical school, and she and Connie ended up being roommates for two years. Natalie was a bridesmaid in the wedding today. In June, Natalie and Connie will be switching roles, with Connie serving as bridesmaid to my bride. The wedding today was held at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Nigel, which is about 70 minutes south of LA. The Ritz sure puts on a fancy shindig. Everything was just beautiful. George and Debbie are getting married at the same place in August. I think they will be quite happy with it.
